On June 13th I’m taking part in an evening event at Imperial College’s new Digital Media Lab with a panel of wonderful speakers who’ll be discussing whether Digital can Save the Oceans.
I’m thrilled to have the chance to talk over ideas with Tom Hooper who led Finding Sanctuary a part of the national Marine Conservation Zone project to set up to protect the English coastline, Ian Brighouse who runs the fantastic website manonabeach, and Helen Webb who co-founded Sea Changers, a fundraising charity that support marine conservation in the UK.
This will be the first in a new series of events being run by Imperial College called Digitalks@ThinkSpace, that will explore the way digital innovations shape the world we live, work and create in. The series will highlight how collaboration and networking can help ideas grow, evolve and bring considered solutions to life.
The event will be filmed and available online afterwards.
