Ada Lovelace Day podcast

In 2012, I took part in Ada Lovelace Day Live in London and spoke about my ichthyological hero, Eugenie Clark, fondly remembered as the ‘Shark Lady’. I also wrote about meeting her for my chapter in the book A Passion for Science (which you can read online).

I’ve been thinking about Genie again lately, while I’ve been writing my next book Eye of the Shoal and exploring parts of her work and life that are less well known compared to her studies of sharks. And so I was thrilled when I had a chance to chat about Genie with Ada Lovelace Day Live founder Suw Charman-Anderson for her fantastic new Ada Lovelace Day podcast.

You can listen online to the podcast, download or sign up to the series HERE.

And as an added incentive to listen in, there’s a signed copy of Spirals in Time up for grabs, in a competition open until the end of February 2017.

Tune in to find out more.

And, I’m very excited that Suw is designing an amigurumi crochet doll of Genie herself!
