Take action for the ocean

Anyone can join the fight for a healthier more just ocean, and there are lots of ways to take action.

Many groups and campaigns are working to undo the key threats the ocean faces: overexploitation, pollution and the climate crisis. Between them, these groups are taking direct action, putting pressure on governments and decision makers and they’re amplifying voices of people who care and want to see change for the better.

Support them in any way you can, be that with your time and expertise, or with your passion and enthusiasm to learn. Some offer memberships and accept donations. Many have petitions to sign and will help to you contact your elected representatives.

Here is a small selection of organisations I think are doing excellent work and are well worth supporting. If you have suggestions for additions to this list, do please get in touch and let me know.
